Tecnova carried out the design, implementation and start-up of the Daily Pass Management System for urban highways, for the Autopista Central concessionaire.
Basically, the system allows the administration of daily passes, which is the instrument that vehicles can acquire to travel on urban highways. This instrument can be used when the vehicles do not have an authorized means of collection (TAG) to transit through the dealerships, thus avoiding infractions due to the improper use of this service.
The main functionalities implemented in the Daily Pass Management System can be summarized as follows:
- Record the daily passes sold and used
- Modify enablement date
- Manage the return of passes
- Determine use by concessionaire of each day pass
- Generate the Clearing process
With all of the above, we proceed to calculate the amounts that correspond to each concessionaire in a given period, according to use of passes and quantity sold, making the respective settlements in the period that the highway is responsible for administering this process.
On the other hand, within the scope of the project, the implementation of a reporting module was also included to support management and decision-making.
The Daily Pass Management System is related to the Highway Violators Management System, also implemented by Tecnova in the same period. Passes information is used in the offender system to avoid traffic violations without a TAG.
