Automobile Credit Administration System

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

FORUM, a financial services company, undertook a tactical transformation project, the main objective of which was to strengthen the automotive credit management process through:

  • First, improve the sales experience of your credit platform.
  • Continuing with, optimize the credit processes in order to meet the growing demand.
  • In addition, develop services that facilitate integrations with their dealers.
  • Finally, develop internal services that allow them to have a modular application

In this way, Tecnova implemented a solution that accomplished customer expectations, making use of an agile development strategy, which allowed defining an incremental plan based on MVPs (Minimum Viable Product).

Consequently, Tecnova presented a strategy to approach the project that contemplated covering the following pillars:

  • I work with users to define the new user experience and translate it into models, which were the basis of the front development.
  • Development of an “Apification” plan to decouple the business from the presentation layer, using the Rest standard.
  • Development of an architecture model that considered the security of services through 3Sacle (Red Hat)
  • Definition of a Continuous Integration (CI) model in order to optimize the release process to test environments.

Funcitonal Scope

At the business level, the new platform covered as part of its scope, the implementation of the following business process groups:

  • Quotation: Entry of basic customer data and subsequent calculation of the monthly payment and printing of the quote.
  • Request: Preparation of the quotation for evaluation, inputting additional client information (financial) and sending to risk evaluation.
  • Evaluation: Considering Middle Office activities, automatic evaluation, admission for evaluation to the client, processes of approval and rejection of applications and appeal to the admission decision.
  • Pre-Curse: covering the assignment of the promissory note number, document printing (simulation, promissory note, pledge mandate, insurance proposal) and client signature.
  • Curse: considering the registration in the portfolio, accounting for the closing, payment of the operation to the dealer, among others.

Technical Detail of the Project

The system was implemented in layers, considering presentation, business services and persistence. On the other hand, in terms of technological issues, the following were used:

  • Development language: JAVA / JEE, Angular 6, Rest services deployed in Red Hat Fuse
  • 3Scale (Api Management)
  • Red Hat JBoss EAP
  • Oracle database
